This RunGTAP version accompanies the paper
Systematic Sensitivity Analysis with Respect to Correlated Variations in Parameters and Shocks
by Mark Horridge and Ken Pearson.

You should find a copy of that paper (a DOC file) in the version subdirectory.

The paper shows how to uses RunGTAP's systematic sensitivity analysis (SSA) tools with respect to parameters and/or shocks which vary according to a specified covariance matrix.

The aggregation and data is the same as that of the ASA7x5 version used in GTAP Courses, devised to examine the effects of increased South African trade and investment on the rest of Sub-Saharan Africa.

The 7 goods are: AGRIC (Agriculture), EXTRACT (Natural Resource, Extractive and related industries), FOOD (Food manufacturing), LITMNFC (Unskilled-labor intensive manufactures), TECHMNFC (Skilled-labor intensive manufactures),
HVYMNFC (Capital intensive manufactures) and SVCES (Services). The 5 regions are: SAFRICA (South Africa), RESTSAF (Rest of Southern Africa), RESTSSH (Rest of Sub-Saharan Africa), EUNION (the EU) and RESTWLD (the rest of the world).
