Below, we provide a summary description of the newly created GTAP aggregation and scenarios definition for the purpose of analyzing
the potential for adaptation to climate change in Morocco, Turkey and MENA through trade policy linkages under global climate change.

The newly aggregated GTAP database describes the world economy through:

1/ 16 regions: Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Canada, United States of America, Brazil,
Rest of Latin America, OECD Europe, Rest of Middle-East, East Europe, Former USSR, Turkey,
Rest of North Africa, Morocco, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

2/ 12 goods and commodities, of which: 7 crops commodities, 1 Livestock, 2 processed food, 1 exctration and mining
1 textile and apparel, 1 Manufactures, 1 Utilities and construction,
                                          and 1 Services.

3/ 5 factors of production: Land, Labor (skilled and unskilled), Capital and Natural Resources.

For the purpose of analyzing the potential for trade liberalization as an adaptation strategy in the face of climate change, we have
identified the following trade scenarios focusing primarily on Morocco and Turkey as our analysis pertains to the latter countries. The
trade scenarios under which we investigate the welfare impacts of climate change and trade liberalization are as follows:

'BASE' Scenario : This scenario is a benchmark scenario against which we will contrast results from subsequent trade liberalization
scenarios under climate shocks. This scenario then represent a world in which we introduce climate shocks globally
to all regions under all five climate scenarios, but with no policy intervention at the trade policy level.

'MULTI' Scenario : This is an extreme case scenario in which we eliminate all trade barriers (i.e. tariffs) globally on all tradable commodities, coupled with climate
shocks under each of the five scenarios.

'AgMULTI' Scenario : This is an extreme case scenario in which we eliminate all trade barriers (i.e. tariffs) globally on all Ag. tradable commodities, coupled with climate
shocks under each of the five scenarios.

'TRLIBEU' Scenario : This is scenario in which we eliminate all trade barriers (i.e. tariffs) between OECD Europe + East Europe/Morocco and OECD Europe + East Europe/Turkey
on all tradables, coupled with climate shocks under each of the five scenarios.

'AGLIBEU' Scenario : This is scenario in which we eliminate all trade barriers (i.e. tariffs) between OECD Europe + East Europe/Morocco and OECD Europe + East Europe/Turkey
on Ag. tradables, coupled with climate shocks under each of the five scenarios.

'MENA' Scenario : This is scenario in which we eliminate all trade barriers (i.e. tariffs) among MENA regions
on all tradables, coupled with climate shocks under each of the five scenarios.

'AgMENA' Scenario : This is scenario in which we eliminate all trade barriers (i.e. tariffs) among MENA regions
on Ag. tradables, coupled with climate shocks under each of the five scenarios.

'MENAEU' Scenario : This is scenario in which we eliminate all trade barriers (i.e. tariffs) between OECD Europe and MENA regions
on Ag. tradables, coupled with climate shocks under each of the five scenarios.
