ESUBrToy - A model with Armington elasticities (ESUBD, ESUBM) and the value-added substitution elasticity (ESUBVA) defined by region

The ESUBrToy was developed by Jayson Beckman, ERS/USDA, and Mary Burfisher.

ESUBrToy is a small-dimensioned model that can be used to study the general equilibrium effects of
changes in trade and supply elasticities by region. Elasticities defined by region allow the modeler greater flexibility to describe differences in supply and demand behavior across regions.

The ESUBrToy model uses a 3x3 aggregation of the v8.1.

Features of the ESUBrToy model are:

(1) Regions: USA and RestofWorld

(2) Sectors: AGR, MFG, SER

(3) Factors: Land, Labor, Capital

(5) Parameter RORDELTA is set to 0.

(6) ESUBVA, ESUBD, ESUBM defined by region.

To adapt the model for your own database, redefine the ESUBM, ESUBD and ESUBVA parameters in your base data parameter file to define them over region (that is, add columns to these parameter pages in Viewhar, one column for each country in your model).
