GTAP Events: Home
While GTAP's most visible products are the data base and model, there is little question that one of the key ingredients to GTAP's success has been fostered by the many GTAP events. Many participants remark that a highlight of the events is the opportunity to get to know other members of the GTAP research community. Indeed, quite a number of collaborative research relationships have been born thanks to these events. When possible, the Center for Global Trade Analysis strives to achieve and maintain environmentally sustainable practices during in-person GTAP events.
Board Meeting
Members of the GTAP Consortium are represented on the GTAP Advisory Board. The Board advises the Center on matters of policy, research agenda, and funding. In so doing, they help to set the direction of future GTAP developments.
Conference
The Annual Conference on Global Economic Analysis aims at promoting the exchange of ideas among economists conducting quantitative analysis on global issues. A strong emphasis is placed on applied general equilibrium methods, data, and applications.
Virtual Seminars
The GTAP Virtual Seminar Series was launched to offer a globally accessible platform for highlighting seminal research conducted by members of the GTAP Network.
GTAP-U
GTAP-U is the formal education initiative of the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) and builds on the Center's three decades of teaching experience in the field of global economic analysis. The goal of GTAP-U is to expand access and improve educational and career opportunities for students and professionals, worldwide.
