Biography Curriculum Vitae - Rachael Nsubuga Ms. Rachael Nsubuga has 15 years’ experience in Trade Policy development fields. She has supported trade programs for Governments and Regional Economic Communities in Africa; including the EAC, COMESA, IGAD and SADC regions. Rachael is supporting United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) on AfCTA implementation in Eastern and Southern Africa countries. She has worked as a Trade Adviser for the Commonwealth Multilateral Trade Programs where she supported development of National Trade Policies, Export strategies and backstopped trade negotiations. She also worked as Research Fellow for Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Secretariat, and International trade Consultant for the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Secretariat where she provided technical support for trade negotiations and regulatory reforms. Rachael has a Master of Science in International Trade Policy and Trade Law from Lund University (Sweden), a Post Graduate Diploma in Trade Law (Lund University) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Makeerere University, Kampala. |
