"An analysis of U.S. regional implications of tariff reductions under the Doha Round of negotiations"
by Tsigas, Marinos

Abstract
Simulated effects of tariff reductions under the Doha Round negotiations are analyzed with emphasis on their regional implications in the United States. The simulations are performed with an applied general equilibrium (AGE) model of the U.S. economy. The AGE model has seven single-output industries and eleven regions. Ten regions represent the U.S. economy; the eleventh region represents the rest-of-the-world (ROW). In each region, producers, consumers and governments trade with economic agents in all U.S. regions; they also engage in international trade with the ROW. The model is calibrated to recent data on domestic-world price gaps.
