Abstract
The input-output table for Canada used in the previous version of the GTAP Data Base was derived from 1990 input-output (I-O) data. For the GTAP 7 Data Base, the Office of the Chief Economist at the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada has undertaken to provide updated input-output data using Canadian Input-Output (I-O) tables for 2003. This report documents the procedure and considerations underlying the construction of the updated I-O table for Canada.
