Resource 2957 is the GTAP-E application used in the 2010 short course. Fixes have been made to the trade balance closure.

GTAP-E pre-2 is the 2007 short course version.

Hello, is there a way to run GTAP-E with the full dataset (meaning 57 sectors)? many thx sebnem

First, you would need to construct a 57-sector GTAP-E data set; we have made none available. Second, you would need to revise the program, since unlike standard GTAP it hard-codes the sectors. Third, you would need to accommodate higher memory requirements and longer run times than with the current aggregation.

The model included in the archive can be used with the version 7 of the GTAP data base.

The GTAP-E Flexagg Data Base Package for version 8 has 2004 and 2007 and is available free of charge to the GTAP data base subscribers. Details and order form available at: https://www.gtap.agecon.purdue.edu/databases/Utilities/default.asp.

Hello, Please advice how to use GTAP-E with Data Base Ver. 8? Is it needed to purchase additional tools or software?
