"GTAP Africa Data Base Documentation - Chapter 2 I-O Table: Kenya" by Wobst, Peter and Benjamin Schraven Abstract The history of Social Accounting Matrices for Kenya goes back to the year 1986. This was the base year for the first Kenya SAM, which was used as an input for a CGE-model in the Ministry of Planning and National Development. In a modified version this SAM was also used as base for a computable general equilibrium (CGE) - model on Kenya’s economy by Jörgen Levin (Levin J. 1998). |
