Abstract
This chapter provides an overview of the macroeconomic features of the GTAP 8 Data Base. We will first present how the macroeconomic data base is collected and processed. Then, the section will focus on highlighting the salient features of the uses of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2004 and 2007 base years.
