"GTAP 8 Data Base Documentation - Chapter 7.I: Mexico" by Gonzalez–Mellado, Aida and Claudia Octaviano Abstract This document describes the procedure followed to update the Mexican input-output table (IOT) for the version 8 of the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) data base. The chapter is organized as follows. Section 2 presents the general characteristics of the Mexican IOT, and the sources used to obtain all the required data to comply with the GTAP IOT structure. Section 3 contains the mapping between GTAP and the national Mexican classification. In the last section, some specific adjustments in the mapping between the constructed Mexican IOT and the GTAP data base are presented. |
