"Chapter 7.K: Korea" by Ko, Jong-Hwan Abstract This chapter describes the procedure and considerations underlying the construction of the Korean Input-Output (I-O) Table for version 9 of the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP) Data Base. The document is organized as follows. Section 2 provides a short description of general characteristics of the Korean I-O table. Section 3 shows how the Korean I-O table is mapped to the GTAP concordance. Section 4 explains how negative values in the initial Korean I-O table are adjusted and Section 5 shows how commodity taxes on domestic products and imports are calculated. In the final section, information not available from the Korean I-O table is mentioned. |
