"Converting an Armington model into a Melitz model"
by Dixon, Peter, Michael Jerie and Maureen Rimmer

Abstract
We show that an existing Armington multi-country model can be converted into a Melitz heterogeneous-firm model by adding four groups of equations to the bottom of the Armington model. We apply our method to an existing GTAP model (GTAP-A) with an Armington specification to create a new model (GTAP-H) with a Melitz heterogeneous-firm specification.
