"Macro-economic effects of governmental policies to stimulate biofuels use in aviation"
by Smeets, Edward, Heleen Bartelings, Hans van Meijl, Andre van Velzen, Anouk van Grinsven and Jasper Faber

Abstract
The aviation sector is one of the fastest growing sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Limiting or reducing the GHG from aviation is therefore a key element of the climate change policy of both the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the members of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and also of national governments and the European Commission. The use of biobased jet fuels is one of the few available options to directly reduce the GHG emissions of the aviation sector.
