"CGE Analysis of Tax Policy Issues in Russia"

Abstract
This article analyzes tax policy reforms in the Russian Federation with a computable general equilibrium model. The CGE model is a one-country CGE model with 17 sectors out of which 7 belong to the agro-food sector. The data-base of the model is specified for 1990 (Input-Output-Table) and 1994 (macro-SAM). Structural rigidities are modeled in an attempt to reflect the transition-specific character of the Russian economy in the mid-1990s.
