"Chapter 8AO: Panama" by Mi, Raymond Abstract This chapter describes the steps taken to convert Panama’s 2016 supply and use tables into an input-output table format used by the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP). The key information of the source data will be firstly discussed in Section 2, followed by the steps of conversion in Section 3. Section 4 presents the mapping between Panama’s 61 original product sectors, GTAP’s 65 sectoral classification, revision 3 (GSC3) and the more aggregated 43 sectors of the submitted tables. |
