"Incorporating endogenous technological change in the IMF-ENV model"
by Baquie, Sandra, Hugo Rojas-Romagosa, Sneha Thube and Dominique van der Mensbrugghe

Abstract
IMF-ENV is the global computable general equilibrium (CGE) model used at the Research Department of the IMF and this paper explains the construction of a new research and development (R&D) module that will endogenize technological change in the model. The main feature of this module is to link R&D expenditures to knowledge and innovations that provide endogenous productivity gains. This paper explains the theoretical setting and how the module is parameterized and incorporated into the IMF-ENV model.
