"Calculate Policy Shocks in R" by Puangchit, Pattawee Abstract This resource provides two R scripts for generating GEMPACK-compatible policy shocks. 1. uniform_shock.R: computes uniform percentage adjustments and saves directly to HAR format, with an option to save the final rate file as well. 2. target_shock.R: calculates shocks from an initial HAR file (e.g., baserate.har) and a target dataset supplied in HAR, CSV, or XLSX format.
