Biography
Fabian Mendez-Ramos is an economist in the Development Research Group at the World Bank Global Knowledge and Research Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His research interests include: (1) understanding uncertainty of information and economic processes; (2) the study of patterns of development and structural change of economic sectors; and (3) identification of key determinants of poverty dynamics and economic growth. He is also interested in the modeling of economies using the framework of computable general equilibrium(CGE) models.
