Biography Curriculum Vitae - Prakash Sapkota Mr. Prakash Raj Sapkota Short Biography Mr. Prakash Raj Sapkota is a well known name in economic modeling community. Born in November 27, 1955 at Phoksing Village of Gulmi district in Western Nepal, Mr. Sapkota is a graduate of Tribhuvan University, Nepal and Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. He has more than three decades of applied economic research experience in Nepal. Mr. Sapkota’s research careers includes staff Economist at APROSC, advisor to Nepalese planning commission for the preparation of Tenth and Interim plan, staff consultant for FAO Rome for SAM and CGE model, visiting researcher at ICTP, Trieste, and visiting professor at Tribhuvan University. Mr. Sapkota has done consulting assignments for the government of Nepal as well as to the bilateral and multilateral organizations including World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNDP, UNIDO, FAO, IDRC, DIFID, GIZ and SNV. |
