Biography Curriculum Vitae - Trang Tran Trang was a lecturer at the Academy of Journalism and Communication in Vietnam. She completed her Ph.D degree in climate change economics at the University of New England in Australia in April 2017 with her thesis titled A CGE Analysis of Distributional and Welfare Effect of Australia's Carbon Emissions Reduction Strategies". Her Ph.D. work was part of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project, named "Adaptation to carbon -tax-induced change in energy demand in rural and regional Australia". She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) with the CSIRO Winanga-y Postdoctoral Fellowship in Economics and Foresight Modelling between 2022 and 2025. Her postdoctoral fellowship focuses on developing the Global Trade Environment Model by incorporating land and water resources for agricultural and food system studies. She is currently a research fellow at the Centre of Policy Studies at Victoria University in Australia. Her research focuses on employment forecasts. She has CGE modelling skills (ORANI-G, GTAP, GTAP-E, GTAP-Power, GTAP-AEZ models, GTEM-Food, GTEM-AEZ, VUEF models). She is familiar with GEMPACK software and its programme, as well as the GTAP databases, the GTAP LULC database, and the Australian I-O tables. |
