Biography
Fatiha Agueny is a PhD candidate in Applied Economics at Mohammed V University, Rabat, specializing in income inequality and the impact of social and fiscal policies in Morocco using dynamic CGE modeling. Since July 2024, she has been conducting a doctoral internship with the Ministry of Finance, focusing on education spending reforms. She has published three articles in reputable journals and presented her research at the 29th GTAP Conference, where she received the Alex Meeraus/Rutherford Award. With over three years of experience in socio-economic survey supervision, she has contributed to World Bank projects evaluating entrepreneurship and apprenticeship programs in Morocco.
