Biography
He is a statistician and economist with a degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistiques et d'Economie Appliquée d'Abidjan-Côte d'Ivoire (2002) and a PhD in Business Administration from Charisma University in 2020. He has 21 years of professional experience. He is an international expert, specialising in statistical operations, strategic planning, macroeconomics, macroeconomic modelling and public finance.
Mr NGUETSE Pierre began his professional career in 2003 at the Institut National de la Statistique (INS) in Cameroon, where he worked as a data collection and analysis supervisor on several statistical operations, including the Employment and Informal Sector Survey (EESI, 2005); the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS, 2006); and the Third Cameroon Household Survey (ECAM3, 2007).

In 2007, he was promoted to assistant research officer at the Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT). In this post, he was involved in the formulation of the country's 2035 vision and in supporting government departments in the multiannual budget framing exercise. In 2013, he was again promoted as the head of the national development strategy unit. In this position, he has assisted government departments in drawing up development strategies and programmes. He was the deputy technical manager during the preparation of the 2020-2030 national development strategy. Since 2019, he has been the coordinator of the SDG Fund project, which aims to develop and implement a national strategy for financing the Cameroonian economy.

Mr NGUETSE Pierre has also been an international consultant since 2009. He has worked with several international organisations (UNDP, World Bank, IMF, UNESCO, ILO) on issues relating to strategic planning, econometric and macroeconomic modelling, multi-year budget programming and programme-based budgeting. He has worked in several countries, including Mali, Mauritania and Burundi.
As a university lecturer, he teaches at universities and Grandes Ecoles and has extensive experience in research, which gives him the ability to adapt, contextualise and innovate.
