"Chapter 7.A: Australia" by Harslett, Philip, Daniel Marshall and Patrick Jomini Abstract The Australian contribution to the GTAP 9 Data Base is based on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) 2009-10 I-O tables. The contribution follows the unified format for a single region I-O table (Huff, McDougall and Walmsley 2000). Specifically, the submission includes the following: • the supply and use of commodities with commodity tax excluded (array UF) • the supply and use of commodities with commodity tax included (array UP) • output of each sector with non-commodity indirect tax included (array OP) • imports by commodity with import duties excluded (array MF) • sector names (array SSET) • a mapping from standard GTAP sectors. |
