"Impacts of COVID-19 on Production, Poverty & Food Systems"
by Pauw, Karl, Josee Randriamamonjy, Saadatou Alkassoum Sangare and James Thurlow

Abstract
The presentation begins by outlining the economic costs generated by the curfew, which is expected to persist throughout 2020, and the sectors affected by COVID-19 and the restrictions. Then, based on an analysis grounded in the multiplier model applied to the Nigerien economy, the transmission channels of impacts and shocks are examined, considering two periods: the curfew period and the recovery period.
