| Table Improvements: | The 2006 Input/output Table (IOT) for Nigeria is based on the latest comprehensive database developed for Nigeria by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and documented in Nwafor et al. (2010: see the contributor’s documentation for the full reference and other details). It adequately represents the Nigerian economic structure as it is based on data for 2006, compared to the old table that uses the official 1990 IOT and the unofficial 1999 IOT. The 2006 IOT is also more detailed with 38 sectors and with particularly fully disaggregated agricultural sector. |
