Biography
Enrique Covarrubias is Chief Economist at Actinver, Mexico's leading investment bank. Prior to this role he was Deputy Head of Research Strategy at Mexico's Central Bank. His policy interests are in international trade and financial markets, with academic interests in general equilibrium theory. He previously was an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Copenhagen.

He studied at INSEAD and the Universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh and Oxford.
