My major contributions have been through (1) development of a macroeconometric framework to understand India’s future growth pathways;(2) creating a bottom-up demand model for India’s Steel demand;(3) estimating current metal intensities in India’s B&C sector and (4) estimation of infrastructure development in India. Prior to this I have worked at ICRIER(a research think tank based in India) for 4 years, where my primary focus was employment growth and competitiveness of Indian manufacturing sector, productivity growth in Indian economy and trade policy reform.
