Biography
Curriculum Vitae - Jeffrey C. Peters
I am an infrastructure economist with a background in engineering. My focus is on energy, electricity, and transportation infrastructure networks as part of the broader economy.
As a PhD student at GTAP I created the GTAP-Power database and am currently preparing an electricity-detailed version of the GTAP-E model, termed GTAP-E-Power.
I am currently a James S. McDonnell Postdoctoral Fellow in Studying Complex Systems in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. My winning fellowship proposal is titled: "Interdependencies in Infrastructure and Economic Systems."
I am developing theoretical tools to: 1) study the role of infrastructure as part of the broader economy to improve planning and 2) understand how different infrastructure are interdependent on one another to improve resiliency.
The position is in the Department of Management Science and Engineering and my faculty sponsor is John Weyant.
