Biography Curriculum Vitae - Sanjib Pohit Sanjib Pohit is presently working as a Professor at NCAER, India, since 2016. Earlier he has held research positions as Professor, Academy of Scientific and Innovation Research and Senior Principal Scientist (CSIR—National Institute of Science, Technology & Development Studies), Senior Fellow/Chief Economist (NCAER), Senior Fellow (ICRIER), Research Fellow (Indian Statistical Institute). He was also a Visiting Scholar to University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, USA), Conference Board of Canada. He is also Council Member of Gerson Lehrman group He has provided research support to the Government of India for negotiation with respect to the Copenhagen Summit and Paris Agreement/Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC) submission, and joint study groups on bilateral preferential trade discussions with the European Union, and Chile. He has served as a member of several committees, including the Climate Change Modelling group of the Ministry of Environment & Forests. He has also played a key role in the completion of research projects sponsored by the Government of India, the Indian private sector, and various international organisations. In his independent research capacity, he has authored 8 books and written around 100 articles in peer-reviewed professional journals and books. He has been a Consultant to various national and international bodies, including ADB, OECD, World Bank, Celertial Earth, CUTS, Ernet & Young, KPMG, IEG, ICRIER, PwC, RIS and TERI.
