Biography
Dr. Rivera currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Office of Economics at the USITC, where she works to ensure proper strategic direction and performance reporting on office activities.

Rivera assumed that positions shortly after returning to the USITC after spending a year (2003-2004) as a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Global Trade Analysis. She worked extensively with Director Terrie Walmsley and the staff to produce a 3 and 10 year strategic plan for the Center. Rivera initially joined the U.S. International Trade Commission as a Research Economist that provides expert economic advice to Congress and the U.S. trade representatives through economic trade modeling and analysis by request on current and possible future trade policy.
