Biography
Curriculum Vitae - Jing Liu

Jing's research focuses on the economic impacts of natural resources and environmental policies. Her recent project employs fine-scale applied partial equilibrium models and spatial econometric analysis to study Nitrate leaching resulted from excessive application of Nitrogen fertilizer in the US, and the policies to alleviate water pollution. Jing also conducts research to understand the the food-energy-water nexus. Applications include the impacts of water scarcity, sustainable agriculture, and economic loss from extreme weather events. Jing is the science coordinator of the GLASS (Global to Local Analysis of Systems Sustainability) project. She is leading a NSF funded project “Innovations at the Nexus of Food, Energy, and Water Systems (INFEWS: U.S.-China): A multi-scaleintegrated modeling approach to managing the transition to sustainability”.
