Biography
Curriculum Vitae - Gessica Souza

I have a Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate in Applied Economics, with an emphasis on environmental economics, natural resources and agricultural economics, working mainly with multi-thematic applications of Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models and land-use change models. I have experience in several projects of ax-ante and ex-post evaluations of public policies with contributions ranging from measuring and creating indicators, to calculating the economic, environmental and social impact of the policy. It also has contributions to the creation of Brazilian regulatory policies in various segments such as natural gas and biodiesel. I am passionate about science and believe that only through quality scientific research will we be able to build an economically sustainable society.
