Travel Funding Opportunities | ||||||||

The following travel funding opportunities were available to those with a paper accepted into the conference program.
Individuals interested in being considered for the travel funding reimbursement opportunities detailed below must indicate so on the abstract submission form. In order to be considered, individuals must:
Travel reimbursement will cover the basic costs associated with attending the GTAP Conference. Funding is independently provided by the Centre of Policy Studies, Victoria University (Pearson funds) and the GAMS Development Corporation (Meeraus/Rutherford funds), up to a pre-determined maximum. The Center for Global Trade Analysis will fund the cost of each recipient's registration. Those receiving travel reimbursement funds will be required to make their own arrangements, paying all expenses up front, and then submit receipts to the Center for Global Trade Analysis for reimbursement following the conference. The following items will be reimbursable; however, U.S. taxes may be withheld from the final reimbursement.
Ken Pearson Travel Funds
Following in his tradition, and in recognition of the many contributions made by the late Professor Ken Pearson, developer of GEMPACK, to the GTAP Network, the Centre of Policy Studies (CoPS), Victoria University has graciously funded travel reimbursement, in his name, to support the participation of a promising young researcher at the annual GTAP conference and encourage their contribution to the use and further development of analytical software for CGE modelling.

Funding for this travel reimbursement opportunity has been graciously provided by the GAMS Development Corporation, to support the participation of a promising young researcher at the annual GTAP Conference and encourage their contribution to the use and further development of analytical software for CGE modelling.
