Created: 8/29/2003 Updated: 10/26/2020 Visits: 7,722 Dr. Wally Tyner James and Lois Ackerman Professor of Agricultural Economics and GTAP Senior Policy Advisor Department of Agricultural Economics, Purdue University United States Biography Wally Tyner (1945-2019) During his extraordinary career, Wally had a profound impact on the Department of Agricultural Economics, Purdue University and the agricultural and applied economics research communities more generally. Over this time, he made major contributions in many areas. Indeed, one of the hallmarks of his career was his versatility and ability to work across disciplines and bring cogent analysis to a wide variety of problems.
