Biography
Curriculum Vitae - Shih-Hsun Hsu

Professor Shih-Hsun Hsu has a PhD in Economics from Texas A&M University. His research interest involves Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) Analysis, International Trade, Resource and Environmental Economics, and Production Economics.

Prof. Hsu is co-founder and Deputy Director of the Center for Sustainable Development (CSD), based at the National Tsing Hua University. The CSD leads a research team spearheading on Computable General Equilibrium analyses on domestic energy and environmental policies and international trade issues. Prof. Hsu plays a lead role in the development of the CSD's TAIGEM model—a dynamic CGE model of Taiwan.

Since 1998, Prof. Hsu has been on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Agricultural Economics, the journal of the International Association of Agricultural Economists. At home, Prof. Hsu is also an advisory member of Statistical Affairs Committee to the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS), Executive Yuan (the Cabinet), Taiwan.

Prof. Hsu has published two academic books and many articles in national and international journals in the area of environmental economics, agricultural economics, policy and trade.
