Biography
Emiko Fukase is a Japanese national and an economist in the Development Research Group at the World Bank. Her research interests include agriculture and food security, globalization and labor market issues related to job creation, income inequality and migration, and trade policy analyses. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Graduate Center, the City University of New York, and M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Emiko has a working knowledge of French.
